We build and lay out the the blocks necessary for large websites using CMS as our design tree. Once completed we organize the blocks in the most effective way visually on the web pages.

 

What is CMS?

A Content Management System (CMS) is a software system used to manage content on a website. Although they are primarily deployed for interactive use by a large number of contributors, they can be used for any website manager interested in managing their content in a systematic form.

The content that is managed includes: images, audio, video, computer files, electronic documents, and web content. The success of CMS is also based on the fact that the website manager can access and manage their website anywhere on the web. CMS sites can also be used as a archival site, storing vast amounts of information in non-proprietary form.

Another feature of CMS is "Workflow Process", the idea of moving an electronic document along for approval or for adding content. For example, a person is hired as an Author to write an article for a website. The Author cannot post their article as they have to send it for approval by the person next up: the Editor. The editor then checks for content, and edits the article to fit what is appropriate. the editor then sends the article along to the next person: the Publisher. The publisher will then determine where the article should be at and posts the article by publishing it online.
